We Mooooved!

We sold our house in 4 days in mesa and moved into our dream house in San Tan Valley on 3 acres. It is so much fun. We now have a cow (Betsy) 2 nigerian dwarf goats (Jabu and GoGo) and about 25 chickens. We love it out here, Montana got a playset and trampoline that will be her christmas present for the next 5 years. We have also planted a garden, re roofed and fixed the chicken house and planted 2 grape vines, one apricot, grapefruit, tangerine and peach tree. When we first moved out here Montana would wake up at 4am to the Roosters "cock a doodle dooing" and so I would go into her room and she would still be half asleep repeating mommy chicken cock a doodle doo and my response was yes, those are chickens now go back to sleep! It lasted for 2 weeks! Montana has to be the one to check for eggs (she has her very own egg basket) she needs to be the one to feed the chickens too. She is a pretty smart girl, she will pour some chicken scratch onto the chickens back and watch the chicken try and eat it (I think its funny) she loves getting kisses from Betsy and the goats love to chew on her hair. There is never a dull moment here!

This is a great post. I love your new home. I love your "down on the farm" life. After all, it is the way I was raised and I love seeing Montana turning into such a little farm girl/cowgirl. She and Harlee are lucky little girls. They are going to love it.
